Dearest Friends,

Words cannot express our gratitude and consolation for the many, many, wonderful condolences and memorials we have received, and for your presence at Roy Piala’s visitation and funeral. Truly he was a valued member of our community; and the shock of his death at the early age of 26 was felt, not only in Waukesha, but all over the country and in parts of the world. On this earth, the loss of his unique love, wisdom, knowledge, and understanding make his passing all the more tragic. But our firm conviction that we will one day see him again gives us comfort.

Thank you for all your prayers and offers to help us in any way possible. Thank you for the lovely flowers. Thank you to Father John Schreiter and St. John Neumann Catholic Church for the beautiful funeral service. Thank you to Randle-Dable-Brisk for their excellent work. Thank you to Jennifer for the great desserts. Thank you to Phil from Fuzzy’s on Main Street in Waukesha (Roy’s favorite restaurant) for donating the cost of all the food at Roy’s funeral reception to Wildlife in Need in Roy’s behalf. Thank you, everyone.
